Our Ukrainian Adoption

Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one's youth. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them. Psalm 127:4,5

First morning at home - on parents' bed

Elizabeth, Timothy, Benjamin, Anna, Samuel, & Jonathan all gathered on our bed the first morning at home. They were all so awed by the fact that their little sister was actually home. We spent a very precious hour together that morning on our bed.

All of the children have adjusted so well to Anna. We haven't seen any jealousy about the attention being given to her. They all compete for the chance to hold her. She seems to be thriving on the attention. She is a very happy, contented baby.

Jason and Anna

Jason drove a half hour to our house at 1:00 a.m. the night we got home. He couldn't wait to meet the latest addition to our family! Jason held her close and commented on how it had been so long since we had a baby in the family.

Elizabeth and Anna - first thing in the morning

Elizabeth and Anna snuggling in a chair upon waking one morning the first week Anna was home. Elizabeth is so delighted to have another girl in the house to help even the odds with all her brothers!

Timothy and Anna - "She's my baby sister"

Timothy makes a really great big brother. He's so busy with his active little life, yet he frequently takes time to stop and hug Anna or tickle her feet or pat her little soft cheeks!

Our children are our greatest blessing !
