We finally have our beautiful Ukrainian princess! ANNA KATERINA ALEXANDRA ! Our adoption journey was one full of ups
and downs, anxiety and joy. The incredible joy when Anna was at last placed in our arms was worth every minute of paperwork,
every discouraging moment, every hour of anxiety, and every difficulty encountered in our adoption journey. She is a true
treasure and a gift from God!
Ours may not be a typical adoptive family. As of this time, in the year 2000, we have 9 biological children between the
two of us. Jeremy (age 24), Shanda (age 23), and Sara (age 18) are from my husband's first marriage. Jason (age 20) is from
my first marriage and was adopted by my husband at age 5. We have been married for 15 years and have had 5 additional children
in this marriage: Jonathan (age 10), Elizabeth (age 9), Timothy (age 7), Benjamin (age 5) and Samuel (age 3).
We have
been blessed with God's greatest treasure - CHILDREN!
We were drawn to adoption by our love for children and the growing
knowledge of the many children in need of a home, security, comfort and love.
